The best way for other attendees to recognise you and do a little background research on you is by looking at your profile on the Who’s Attending page. It let’s them view your twitter handle.

This way, other attendees can seek you out and maybe together you could come up with something interesting.

However, how does one recognise you, if the photo is replaced with NAPUU?

Get a Gravatar

The photo is picked automatically from your email address, if it is registered at gravatar.com. All you have to do is, add the email address that you bought the ticket with to your existing gravatar profile.

If you don’t have a gravatar profile, create one. You can add all your email addresses and even have different photos for different emails. Here’s a little article on why to use gravatars.

In addition to the WordCamp Nashik website, a gravatar is useful on any WordPress site in the world, Disqus, GitHub and Stack Overflow, among others. Even slack uses gravatar.

The reverse is also true. If you’d rather be left alone, let the NAPUU be (Our Mascot that look nothing like you!) and no one will recognize you!

Thanks to the overwhelming response from all you awesome sponsors, WordCamp Nashik 2016 has almost covered it’s budget!
While we’ve already announced most of our sponsors, a couple will be announced as soon as we complete the formalities.

What happens to the surplus?
If we collect surplus amounts, it is sent to WordCamp Central and used to fund a WordCamp that maybe has difficulties attracting sponsors. It is also used to fund other community initiatives like meetups.

We still want to help sponsor WordCamps
You sure can! There are many things you can do:

• Sponsor in kind: How about picking up a couple of bills directly? Or maybe just give some useful gifts to participants of WordCamp Nashik!
• Sponsor the long haul: You could sponsor the local meetup group that organises this WordCamp so that they can help strengthen and evolve the community and do a better job next time!

Sula Vineyards is an Indian winery located in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. It is the first Valley’s first commercial winery. The vineyards also house a resort to live in the winery and a tasting room in which people can taste different samples and varieties of wines produced at the winery. Sula Vineyards spread over 160 acres of area in Nashik.

The Tour and Tasting at Sula Vineyards
One of Sula’s friendly, knowledgeable tour guides takes you on a tour of the winery, uncovering the mysteries of the wine making process from grape to bottle. Firstly the guides educates about the vineyards. Aroma of fresh fermenting wine mesmerizes visitors in the Tank Hall while our guide educates you on the different kinds of wines brewing here in these tanks.

End of the tour is at the Barrel room where carefully picked wines are aged and stored in Oak barrels. End the session in Sula’s Tasting Room, and sample hand picked wines from Sula’s estate where the guide leads you through the proper steps to see, swirl, sniff, and sip wine. This is altogether a 45 minutes session.

Winery tour and tasting take place between 11:30 am to 6:30 pm on all days (One tour every hour)
